Our proposal for a site specific installation in the basement of Architecture Gallery at Portland Place, London for the RIBA design week.

Themed around the notion of boundaries, our installation ‘Airport’ is an immersive & interactive installation, provoking contemplation.

Defining a space within a space where we contemplate transition or queue in close proximity to strangers - connotations of airport waiting queues or immigration barriers are iterated.

‘Airport’ uses custom stanchions with exaggerated heights to repurpose what was once recognisable. A number of the bollards are movable, via wheels below the base to allow movement through the space.
